Notably, the Yankees have failed to make any notable signing in the 2022 free agency. Instead, they have lost some of the key free agents to their rival teams. However, unlike baseball fans, Yankees manager Aaron Boone believes that they have a better team for the 2022 season.
Despite not making any big signings, the Yankees have performed exceptionally well in the spring training games. And based on that, Boone is confident to have a good roster for the upcoming season.

What are the expectations from the New York Yankees in 2022?
Notably, after such a disastrous off-season in 2022, no one is considering the Yankees for the championship in the upcoming season. First, they lost Freddie Freeman to the LA Dodgers, and then they ended up losing Carlos Correa to the Minnesota Twins.

Not only this, the Yankees are even struggling to extend their talisman, Aaron Judge, who is in the last year of his contract. As of now, the league games will start on April 7, and if the Yankees do not re-sign Judge before opening day. Then he will also become a free agent at the end of the season.
