Kristopher Lee Bryant, aka Kris Bryant, has been a trending topic all over the internet. Earlier on Wednesday, the former San Francisco Giants star signed a long-term deal with the Colorado Rockies. And that is something by which the baseball fans are still in shock.

Kris Bryant has been one of the top third basemen in Major League Baseball in the recent few years. And now, at the turning point of his career, going to the Rockies might not be the best decision for the star third baseman.

Notably, Kris Bryant is only 30 years old, and instead of choosing for a top MLB side, he signed a long-term contract with a mid-table team. As soon as the news broke out, many fans didn’t believe the deal.

MLB fans believe Kris Bryant’s seven-year deal with the Colorado Rockies doesn’t make any sense

Kris Bryant has been playing in Major League Baseball for over 7 years now. And after playing for teams like the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants, he signed a seven-year contract for a whopping $182 million with the Rockies. Which is more than what Freddie Freeman will be getting at his new team, the LA Dodgers.

Notably, a top player like Bryant going to the Rockies is more like doing injustice to his career. Had he chosen a top team such as the New York Yankees, Cubs, and even the Giants, it would have been far better than the Rockies deal.

While another user compared his deal with Freddie Freeman’s contract with the Dodgers and Matt Olson of the Atlanta Braves. Notably, as per the new contract, Bryant will earn the most among the three of them.
