Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan are probably two of the greatest ambassadors of their respective sports. Despite playing different sports, these two share a very close bond of friendship. Jeter is over 10 years younger than Jordan, but that didn’t stop him from becoming a good friend of the basketball legend.

It’s been a while now since they retired from their sports. But as they say, a sportsperson can never truly leave the sports. This applies to Jeter as well. Recently, the Yankees legend, revealed who is better at playing golf between him and Jordan.

Many people might not know, but when Jeter retired from baseball in 2014, Jordan had written him a congratulatory letter for his long-time friend on a wonderful career.

Notably, both of them are great two greats of their games. But in golf, Jeter agreed that Jordan might be slightly ahead of him. In the interview, Darius Miles asked Jeter if he and Jordan were playing golf, then who would win? Jeter said he hasn’t been playing golf for a very long time compared to Jordan.

“See, the great thing about golf is the thing they call handicaps..the worst you are, the more strokes you get. So it even things out. I just started playing golf when I retired and then I haven’t played much in the last four years. Plus, I got two girls. So I don’t have a lot of time to go break it off. So he’s been playing his whole life.” said Derek Jeter.

However, when it comes to baseball and basketball, it’s hard to fill the void left by Jeter and Jordan.
