Shohei Ohtani is probably the greatest thing that has happened to baseball in years, if not decades. Ever since his arrival in Major League Baseball, the Los Angeles Angels superstar has been ruling the league.
Given that he is a two-way player, who can pitch as well as bat, many also compare him to the baseball great, Babe Ruth. Though Ohtani is still very young, he already has established himself as one of the best players in the game.

Notably, Ohtani is a two-way player, he can pitch as well as hit. In the 2021 season, he had a phenomenal year for the Angels. Ohtani became the first MLB player to achieve 100+ innings and record 100+ strikeouts as a pitcher, and 100+ RBIs hits and runs as a hitter. While he also became the first player to start the MLB All-Star Game as a pitcher and a designated hitter.

In 2021, Ohtani recorded a total of 156 strikeouts as a pitcher and hit 46 home runs as a batter for the LA Angels. Now, with the new season on cards, the Angels would be expecting him to have even a better season in 2022.
