In the very 1st inning of the game, Mike Trout hit the ball pitched by pitcher Justin Verlander in the Left Field. Everyone thought that it was a home run, but Trout got robbed by outfielder Chas McCormick, who managed to catch the ball while almost clinging to the wall.

Mike Trout was so focused on hitting the ball out of the stadium that he was not going to leave Angel Stadium without scoring his first home run of the MLB 2022 season. Trout waited till the end and finally got the opportunity and he took it. In the 8th Inning, Ryne Stanek pitched the ball and Trout took no time to swing the bat in the clean way he is known for. He hit the ball in the Left Center Field and scored a whopping 445 feet home run, his first of this season.
