The New York Yankees are having quite a successful season so far. The last time they ended a season as the leaders of the AL East Division was in the MLB 2019 season. Fans are hoping for another Division win this season, given the Yankees are looking pretty strong both on paper and on the field.

The star players are in a terrific form with Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, Joey Gallo, DJ LeMahieu, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa performing at their best with the bat. Meanwhile, Gerrit Cole, Aroldis Chapman, and Luis Severino are running a riot with their pitches.

Gallo is quite new to the Yankees as the Texas Rangers traded him in 2021. However, the left fielder had a lot to say about the team, the performance, and the chemistry.
“We got great chemistry. Really feels like a family. Everybody cares about each other a lot. I think this is just one of the best clubhouses I’ve been to in a long time. A lot of veterans and stuff. It’s exciting to be a part of and hopefully, we keep doing it,” said Gallo during an interview.

At present, the two most important things the New York Yankees should pay sufficient attention to are being consistent and keeping the players healthy. They have a good team that works well together and is pulling all the right strings currently. Putting on dominating performances, they are riding high on confidence and riding high on top of the leaderboard.
The Yankees should primarily target the Toronto Blue Jays as the two teams have been competing for the first position in the division since Opening Day. The Yankees will have one game against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday, and then they will travel to Missouri to face the Kansas City Royals, followed by the mighty Blue Jays in Toronto.
