Jackie Chan is one of the biggest superstars all around the globe. The champion martial artist has a wealth of more than 400 million and could afford anything he wants. However, ‘Little Jack’ had different plans to spend his huge amount. Unlike many stars, Chan doesn’t believe in investing. Rather, his obsession is to give up his income to the needy ones. 

In his autobiography, Chan revealed what is going to do with massive wealth after his death. He also recalled the incident when he realized why doing charity is important to him.

Jackie said that he has seen many families and firms fighting for money after the holder dies. To prevent any such happening, Chan has carefully written down every small detail in his will. Jakie wants to leave no money behind once he passes away. “I hope that, when I die, my bank balance will be zero,” Chan wrote in his book. “Giving is my new obsession,” he added.

The legend revealed how a visit to a charitable event put him in deep introspection. Back in the day, Chan became addicted to alcohol and used to drink a lot. However, one day he went to a charity event for kids, wearing huge sunglasses to hide his swollen eyes. “I was a bit frightened to start with, but gradually began to feel sympathy for them,” Jackie wrote.

The kids’ expectations made him feel guilty. He spent the next entire week in self-introspection. The meeting with the children and their struggle changed his approach. Chan decided to dedicate his fortunes to the people who are struggling. “I had to give more of myself to people who haven’t been as fortunate,” Jackie wrote in his autobiography. The legendary actor also refused to pass his wealth to his own son.
