Jackie Chan is, without a doubt, one of the biggest stars from Asia to arrive in Hollywood after Bruce Lee. This Martial Arts legend got his foothold in the US with the 1995 film ‘Rumble in the Bronx’, and his stardom found a new global reputation. The actor is married to Taiwanese actress Joan Lin, with whom he tied the knot in 1982. However, a few years before that, Chan had romantic thoughts about a Taiwanese singer in one instance. After The Big Brawl did badly at the box office, Chan returned to Hong Kong and wanted to work in a film desperately to restore his image. While deciding on locations, Chan came up with the idea of Taiwan, mainly because he wanted to meet Teng.
