Legendary martial artist Bruce Lee had once set a life goal that kept him pushing throughout his career. Many people think that Lee’s ambitions were limited and were related to reaching the epitome of physical strength. However, this statement can only be partially true as Lee was working on his skills to reach his own goals that were separate from people’s expectations. The martial art champion had his own definition of what success feels like.  

In his biography titled Bruce Lee: A Life, Matthew Polly discussed an interesting incident when he revealed his aim in life. Interestingly, it was not limited to emulating his martial art form. 

Bruce Lee made a promise to become the richest actor in the USA

The book reveals that on the evening of January 7, 1969, Lee penned down his vision for his life in the form of a document titled My Definite Chief Aim. The Little Phoenix wrote some predictions for his upcoming years of excellence and fame. What he aimed to accomplish was to be the wealthiest superstar in the USA. His exact words were, “I, Bruce Lee, will be the first highest-paid Oriental superstar in the United States.”
