Jackie Chan brought a unique combination of action and comedy to the masses. He put in his blood, sweat, and tears during his five-decade-long career with more than 200 films, which eventually earned him the most prestigious Honorary Oscar in 2016. While his professional life earned him stardom and accolades, the $400 million net worth actor faced challenges to achieve the same level of success as a father.

Chan recently announced his decision to donate his hard-earned wealth instead of letting his son inherit it. Contrary to his rigid nature, in his book, “Jackie Chan: Never Grow Up,” the Hollywood action star recounted his efforts to fulfill his son’s wish against Joan, his wife.

Every time Chan called, he would ask, “Where are you?” Once on learning that the Hong Kong native was filming in Australia’s snow hills, Jaycee exclaimed, “Wow, snow hills!” Also, he added regretfully, “I’ve never seen snow in my life.”
