Fresh-Off the Podium, US Olympic Legend Flaunts Medals With Son at NASCAR Event

It’s been more than a month since they have wrapped Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 up. While some of the Olympians are resting after a long event, some are enjoying a great time with friends and family. But what is Elana Meyers Taylor doing in NASCAR after a spectacular run at the Beijing Paralympics? Let’s find out.
The 37-year-old US bobsledder won two medals at the Paralympics this year, including a silver medal in mono bob event, and a bronze in bobsled two-woman event. They even chose Elana as the flag bearer for team USA in the opening ceremony but couldn’t attend it because of the positive covid test report. However, the team gave her the same opportunity once again in the closing ceremony, which she gladly accepted.

After a spectacular performance in the Beijing Winter Olympics, Elana is now having a great time at NASCAR cup with her family. The US bobsledder posted a picture with Toyota Camry driver, Bubba Wallace, on her Instagram handle today.

In the caption she wrote, “Had a great time at @nascar #FOHQT500 this past weekend! Amazing to meet @bubbawallace , tour pit road, enjoy the race, and meet so many fans and wonderful people! Thanks so much @atlantamotorspeedway for having us!”
The race took place at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Hampton and was won by Chevrolet driver, William Byron.

Elana Meyers Taylor was chosen for team USA for the first time during 2010 Winter Olympics. In her debut Olympic, she won a bronze medal with her partner Erin Pac. While in 2014 Winter Games, Elana won a silver medal with her partner Lauryn Williams. She continued her Olympics journey with another silver medal in 2018 and finally a silver and a bronze medal in Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

Apart from this, she has several world championship medals under her name as well. Elana is a remarkable athlete and has delivered in every Olympics she took part in.
