Dunne was spotted posing with Chevrolet 9 Driver Chase Elliot in a post shared by NASCAR’s official Instagram account. She made the decision to try something new by attending her first NASCAR Cup Series and had previously indicated the same on June 9th. The cross-sport appearance took place at the Nashville Superspeedway on June 25th, 2023, during the NASCAR Ally 400 race.

The appearance was also acknowledged by Elliot on his Twitter. Her followers were ecstatic to see her enter the motorsports industry, and many posted about their joy on social media.
