The legendary NASCAR team owner Richard Childress has also taken an amazing initiative for this event. Childress is a remarkable conservationist and philanthropist in the Piedmont-Traid community and had has an affinity for his Nation’s troops since he was a kid.

The Carolina Cowboys will also pay tribute to the veterans before the PBR Team homestand at Greensboro Coliseum. It is going to be one of the most respectful events for the rodeo community. The kind gesture towards the veterans in this homestand event will be a step ahead for the rodeo’s bright future.

Grand gesture by the rodeo community toward the veterans

The annual homestand, Cowboy Days in Greensboro, North Carolina, at Greensboro annual homestand will be a special one. It will be held from the 22nd of September to the 24th of September, 2023. Richard Childress will be honoring the U.S. military veterans and active-duty service members by donating 1,000 tickets for the Carolina Cowboys PBR event.

On Wednesday, the Carolina Cowboys (CC) distributed vouchers to the veterans while they were at the RCR Veterans Coffee at the RCR Events Center on the campus of Childress Racing. And the rest of the tickets will be presented at the Veterans Bridge Home. According to PBR, the tickets for the event are on sale and start at $20 eliminating the taxes and fees. They are available at Ticketmaster.com and PBR.com. One can also get it at the Greensboro Coliseum Box Office or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.

The CC is the only professional bull riding team in this area, and they will be hosting their second homestand. And Childress is the owner of the team, alongside him is Jeff Broin who is also the owner of the team. The 2018 Daytona 500 Champion Austin Dillon is the general manager of the group. The schedule for the event has been put up on their Instagram account and the rodeo enthusiasts cannot wait to witness the beautiful event.

Authorities speak about the PBR event to take place

The schedule for the Cowboy Days event has been released by the Carolina Cowboys and all the rodeo lovers cannot keep calm. The best thing is that there will be a free, family festival on the 23rd of September starting at 3 p.m. And DJ Hek Ye and Austin McNeill are invited to grace the event with their presence. The veterans who will be attending the event on the 22nd of September and the 24th of September will get the chance to meet the CC at an on-stage Q&A at the festival which will start at 5:45 p.m. on the 22nd and at 1 p.m. on the 24th of September.

To the entire initiative, Childress expressed, “I believe in patriotism and American Pride.” He believes that all the veterans are very important because they are the true heroes. He feels that the entire nation owes a lot to these men and women. He further added, “I hope that those who served are able to come out to Cowboy Days and enjoy a fun, action-packed bull riding event.” It is going to be an exciting one and a new experience for all the rodeo lovers.
