The 6’11” center from Serbia has established himself as an unguardable scorer who can score from anywhere. While Jokic has established his dominance in the NBA, a fellow Serbian basketball player has made an indelible mark in FIBA’s 3×3 basketball.

Dejan Majstorović recently touched a new height in the world of 3×3 Basketball. The Serbian has dominated the 3×3 basketball setup and has gained the uncanny ability to score from anywhere. This has propelled him to the top of the FIBA’s 3×3 leaderboard. In fact, a recent social media post celebrated a staunch milestone reached by the 35-year-old and declared him a bona fide scoring machine.

Serbian player rewarded for his consistent Nikola Jokic magic

Dejan Majstorović invokes both fear and confusion in the minds of his opponents with his monstrous talent for scoring. The six-time world champion dominates the court just like his NBA counterpart Nikola Jokiić and has become nearly unguardable. The NBA dropout stands at 6’7”. However, even his size doesn’t drag him down and instead helps him make flawless shots from both inside and outside the arc. FIBA 3×3 Basketball’s official X account recently tweeted a graphic featuring multiple images of Majstorović pooled into one. The caption of the tweet reads, “A Walking Legend” and carries a crown emoji alongside the Serbian flag emoji.

 The graphic also displayed a massive 1460 points accumulated by the 35-year-old in his 3×3 career. Acknowledging the feat, the poster mentioned, “FIBA 3×3 World Tour Top Scorer.” This isn’t the first time Majstorović ruled the charts. In fact, he earned the MVP title at a recent World Tour in August 2023.

MVP Majstorović aids his side to six masters win at Prague

While Dejan Majstorović earned his top scorer title in Amsterdam, he was named the MVP at the Prague iteration. He rose to the top of the MVP ladder just like his homeland counterpart Nikola Jokic and reigned supreme. The Majstorović helped his squad, Ub Huishan NE to six victories at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Prague Masters. In fact, he played a crucial role in one of the matches to pull his team out of a near-loss.

The score was tied at 17-17 at the time and Majstorović made full use of the chance he earned. The Serbian bucketed two perfect free throws to clinch the victory with a score of 21-17. The play bolstered his ratings and yielded him his first MVP award. With another honor in his pocket, fans would look forward to more amazing matches from the Serbian giant.
