American skiing legend Lindsey Vonn has been in a cross-sports role ever since she retired. The snow-riding specialist has come off as more than a jack of all sports and meeting the legends of several games. This also included her encounter with basketball legend Dwyane Wade.

The NBA Hall of Famer had teamed up with Lindsey Vonn at courtside earlier this year as they both donned coaching hats. Now, Wade and Vonn have come together again, months after their joint victory in February. In fact, Dwyane Wade shared a new social media update for his fans, wherein he shared the frame with the skiing maestro.

Dwyane Wade took to Instagram and uploaded an image with Lindsey Vonn to his stories. Wade captioned the image, “My friend @lindseyvonn stopped by for a convo.” Both the athletes beamed at the camera effervescently and brightly while clicking the picture.

Interestingly, there was a small mic emoji at the end of Wade’s caption. This could mean that Lindsey Vonn and Wade could appear in a podcast together. However, no such official news has been received so far.

The 3x NBA Champ and the 2x alpine skiing world champion had previously co-coached Team Wade at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The duo of Wade and Lindsey Vonn successfully defeated Team Ryan headed by Utah Jazz Governor Ryan Smith by 81-78.

Interestingly, while Wade had won his lone Olympic gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, Lindsey Vonn also clinched her lone Olympic gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics. In fact, both sporting superstars shared the stage and won the same award in 2019 once again.

Receiving a grand honor for amazing careers

Lindsey Vonn and Dwyane Wade were the recipients of the 2019 ETSY Awards for their brilliant sporting careers. The duo shared the stage with New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski and delivered their victory speeches. Vonn had announced her retirement the same year due to her nagging knee injury.
