NCAA stuns the sports community with its million-dollar deal

The Sports Business Journal has taken to its X account to announce the magnificent deal of NCAA with ESPN. They stated, “The NCAA has a new ESPN deal worth $115M annually for coverage of 40 championships domestically”. This is one of the biggest deals and lays emphasis only on the growth of the students. They have further added, “The new deal runs through 2030 & is roughly three times the value of the current contract that expires in 2024”.

This eye-catching milestone of the NCAA is an eight-year deal with ESPN. Of the 40 championships mentioned, 21 are women’s events and 19 are men’s events. These are beyond men’s basketball events. NCAA President Charlie Baker has confirmed that over and above the deal value, 25% more will be incurred for marketing and production.
