In 2016, the pre-season game of the Ravens featured the 200m IM Olympic event of the swimming legend live on the screen. At that moment, Boomer Phelps couldn’t witness the event live. However, last Sunday, he shared a bonding moment with his legendary father during the Ravens game.

Michael Phelps authors a special love for his favorite NFL team 

On Sunday, January 28, the Ravens were up against the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL Conference Championships. This time, the stakes were high, as the winner of the match would go into the Super Bowl. So a star-studded bunch appeared to support their favorite team. For the Ravens, Michael Phelps, Ray Lewis, and Ed Reed created a camaraderie on the VIP box, shouting for the blue jersey. All the legends received their share of tribute despite their cheering couldn’t result in a win for the Ravens squad.

But to extend the thankful gesture, the Baltimore Ravens’ IG handle posted a snippet of the stars hugging each other just before the game where Boomer Phelps maintained the role of a bystander. The caption of the snippet went as “Baltimore sports legends!!”

The fans’ wishes and Boomer’s day in the middle 

For Boomer, it panned out to be a great day as he carried the match ball into the game and bonded with his dad over the game. Moreover, the video showcased an invaluable moment when father Michael Phelps introduced his son Boomer Phelps to the legend, Ed Reed. That uncapped the flashing of joy among the fans as they soon joined in the comment box of that IG feed. The IG handle, kristin_chomp commented, “Damn. Suggs Reed and Lewis are all at the game”. Juanfra8203 didn’t take much time to identify Michael Phelps among the crowd of stars. In the comment box, he signed in by penning Best Olympian ever”

Michael Phelps and Ray Lewis were also seen hugging each other on the pitch. The IG handle, jillhorn63 echoed the confluence of the legends as “Goat to Goat”. The same sentiment was pushed into by the IG handle, travelgods in his comment, “All these legend!! PLEASE LET IT BE A GREAT DAY”. However, in the perspective of the result, the “GREAT DAY” wasn’t in place for the Ravens.
