A packed Camp Randall stadium bore witness to Ohio State’s victory, maintaining their unbeaten record on a Saturday night. Notably, their star running back and wide receiver were sidelined in the second half due to injuries. Michigan appeared to be at a disadvantage even before the game began, as they couldn’t match the lead established by Ohio State. The Badgers earned their first points with a field goal by Nathanial Vakos, making the score 10-3.

A 13-yard pass from Braedyn Locke to Will Pauling resulted in a Badgers touchdown, briefly tying the game. However, Ohio State regained the lead and ultimately dominated the game. Wisconsin’s defense played a crucial role in keeping them competitive. The game was not the best for the Badgers. But it sure was interesting enough to get the attention of Dave Portnoy.

Dave Portnoy response to the audience

In a post by Old Row Sports on their X account, they shared a picture of audience members sleeping and yawning. To which the creator of Barstool Sports had a one-word reaction. Dave Portnoy reposted the post on his X account.?

This might have come from the unfairness of the Badgers. Some internet users accused Wisconsin of cheating during games. There were suspicions that an audience member recording the match may have been affiliated with another team, attempting to capture signals and relay them to their coaching staff. In response to this, Dave Portnoy expressed his strong disapproval with a single-word caption: “JAIL!”

Accusation of cheating on the team

While the game went a foot, the spectators were seen yawning and sleeping through it. The game was a snooze-fest for some attending it in the stadium. While the recording of the game was considered cheating to some, some called the whole rule stupid. Saying that it is useless and there is no point in this rule.

One user proposed that Dave should initiate a trend in which spectators are allowed to record videos from the sidelines and then upload them to a shared platform, accessible to all the teams. This would effectively demonstrate the baselessness of accusations, as videos from various teams would be available for everyone to review.

The debate on this issue seems to persist, and it remains a hot topic on the internet. Nevertheless, Wisconsin is determined to maintain their focus on the upcoming game, striving to perform at their best and secure a victory. Looking ahead, Wisconsin is set to travel to Indiana on November 4th.
