Continuing his support to his university, Michigan, Dave has been the prime vocal for them through thick and thin. As the scandal is far from reaching out to any resolution, any firm decision from the NCAA would be a turning point for the university football team. As per the allegations,  if such tactics have been used against Michigan, then it potentially violates the Big Ten’s sportsmanship policy. The conference cited the policy as the basis of their case against Michigan. The school and the Big Ten confirmed that Michigan had received notification of potential disciplinary action from the conference. However, we are still awaiting clarification on the involvement of an undisclosed Big Ten employee in consolidating inputs of Wolverines’ games. This has been shrouded in mystery for too long now and only the highr authority can bring some much needed justice.

The NCAA facing nerve-wracking pressure for due diligence

The National Collegiate Athletic Association has been under immense pressure. With the collective callout to put a penalty on Michigan, the NCAA is dealing with a lot of heat. The association is jumbled between the Big Ten’s sportsmanship policy and Central Michigan’s internal scrutiny. As multiple investigations are running on and off the college football scandal, it is crucial to stick to one source completely.

The investigation for allegedly sending informers to the opponent’s games to wrongfully gather inputs has been headed by the NCAA. The main face that revolves around the whole sideline invading tactic was Connor Stalions. But he has already resigned from his post as the investigation proceeded. He was initially suspended for his alleged involvement in the scandal.

The NCAA has not outlawed sign-stealing, but ruled against in-person scouting and using electronic equipment to steal signs. Some of the allegations against Michigan also suggest an organized and well-funded approach. Harbaugh had already denied any knowledge of the scheme and the school said it is cooperating with the NCAA. As the investigation continues, the sports world watches with bated breath.
