On 2nd December, Dave Portnoy took to his Twitter handle, @stoolpresidente to point out the persisting technical issues at the studio. In the video, he ruthlessly exclaimed, “How hard is it to get the TV to work? What is wrong with our tech? How much money do I have to spend?”

Dave Portnoy compared it with the production quality of Lil Sas. Harry, popularly known as Lil Sasquatch among the social media community, works at Barstool Sports. His interesting approach to sports videos and mass media appeal has helped him accumulate a large viewership on various platforms.
In his X post, Dave Portnoy is intimidated by “how Lil Sas can record a podcast in his apartment with his own equipment better than we can.” In the clip, Portnoy further adds, “I know he takes it personally, but I don’t understand how we’ve been doing it like a hundred years and we don’t have a system.” He concludes, “It’s one of the worst performances from a tech guy,” calling out his team.

Dave Portnoy Faces Tech Issues Despite Costly Equipment and Trained Producers
Dave Portnoy called out the technical staff for the underperformance. He unapologetically continued with his reporting style. As Portnoy continues in the latest X post, he is baffled at how much money he needs to spend to get a decent Internet connection. He points out that despite having “3000 producers and unlimited budget,” they continue to face the problem.
It comes in the wake of Surviving Barstool season 3. The first episode premiered on 27 November. 14 contestants compete for $100,000, in a season that is wilder than ever. The world of Barstool Sports has cutthroat competition, and only those who have the resiliency to survive will ultimately get ahead.
