Dave Portnoy derides OSU??

Dave Portnoy did not hold himself back, cursing allegations against Ohio State University. The Barstool Sports CEO came out in the most horrendous, rather funny way, alleging OSU’s fishy movements. The El Presidente added in his tweet, “Think about it. Michigan has beaten the piss out of Ohio so thoroughly the last few years that cryin Ryan set up an investigation firm 20 miles outside Ann Arbor to spy on the Wolverines. Can’t make it up. I love this rivalry.”?

Both the Wolverines as well as the Buckeyes had a whopping 11 game streak undefeated in the 2023 season. The two will be pitted against each other once more to display their respective fighting spirit for a Big Ten Championship Game. Their illustrious rivalry, as well as sojourn, together is one of epic proportions.

Michigan and Ohio’s enduring journey

Dave Portnoy’s elation might have gained extra mileage after seeing the Wolverines’s undefeated run this season. The Wolverines leapt forward another matchup in The Game with Saturday?s 24-15 victory at Penn State. Apart from that, Michigan has given a tough fight to Ohio this year in terms of offenses and defenses. Both the clubs have featured in the top positions of the NCAA and the Big Ten in those scales. Michigan has performed almost at par with Ohio in other sections of the game this season.?

Before 2021, the University of Michigan had faced 8 straight defeats to the OSU. However, Michigan holds the maximum wins against Ohio. Rather, both these teams faced each other from 1918 to 2020 straight. From the next season, Big Ten will discontinue the divisions mode in the NFL. So, this year?s ‘The Game’ is the last one on the calendar. However, fans like Dave Portnoy will savour rivalries well into the future.
