Right from his Division II Missouri Western State days, Owens has been in search of chances. Reflecting on the same, the 28-year-old footballer wrote on X, “All i ever needed was a chance 🙏🏽”. Soon after the deal was finalized, Owens put up a story stating that his beloved wife, Simone Biles, was with him during the contract signing on FaceTime. This was because Biles is currently busy preparing for the upcoming Paris Olympics and thus, she was not able to support Owens in person.

As a matter of fact, the one season that Owens played with the Green Bay Packers demonstrated his commitment and skills with a whopping 84 tackles in the entire season. His antics came at a crucial juncture when Darnell Savage was struggling with injuries. Now, the 28-year-old has joined the arch-rivals of the Packers, after the latter decided to list Owens as a free agent.
