Although he looked on curiously, the child ended up playfully snatching the ball from his grandfather. The video ended with Gretzky holding on to Tatum as he walked away.

Janet Jones posted the video with the caption, “Papa Wayne determined hockey is in him making sure he is a lover not a fighter 😂👶🏼”. Looks like the sport does run in the family after all!
