Keanu Reeves and Justin Bieber have something in common

In the recent update from yesterday, Reeves wanted to go candid with his fans over the AMA session. ‘John Wick’ uploaded the post to notify his followers about the time he was going to come live. He posted a picture of him holding a whiteboard that read, “Reddit AMA, Keanu Reeves, u/lionsgate, Saturday 3/4, 12 pm PT/ 3 pm ET.” 

Evidently, the communication was conducted through the Lionsgate account. When someone among the fans asked him about his favorite team in the league, the actor promptly replied, “Any Canadian Olympic team, but in the NHL, hometown – Toronto Maple Leafs.” Notably, he grew up in the Toronto neighborhood of Yorkville. That’s where Reeves first became a fan of his home town Maple Leafs.

It must be good to know that our John Wick was an athlete in himself. During high school, he played as a goaltender for North Toronto in the Metro Toronto Hockey League, which was later known as the Greater Toronto Hockey League. The owner of the goaltending high school comprehended his potential and offered him to play for Canada’s Olympic team. But the soon-to-be actor turned down the scope and flew to California for his acting dreams. Though his career in Hollywood couldn’t erase his passion for hockey. Talking about Hollywood, there are certain others who aspired to be great Maple Leafs fans.

Among several other devoted fans, pop singer Justin Bieber has always been a passionate fan of the sport. In fact, he still plays and enjoys hockey. Bieber collaborated his own brand Drew House with Adidas and designed a funky reversible jersey for the team. Being a Leafs fan from his childhood, it was indeed a privilege to do something for his favorite club, as per the singer.
