In an apple podcast episode titled Everything But Sex with Paulina Gretzky presented by Pillows and Beer, the oldest Gretzky child talked about this one time when she really made her father panic at an event.

Wayne Gretzky anticipated the worst

In the podcast, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll were joined by Paulina Gretzky. She discussed her life as the daughter of the greatest athlete of all time. The podcast also shared a moment when Wayne Gretzky suffered a panic attack just because of her.

“Watching his retirement game was probably one of the coolest experiences of my life. I think I was 10… My dad was having a panic attack one time and I was singing the Canadian national anthem and he was like ‘if this b*tch gets this wrong, YouTube forever,” Paulina said. Apparently, the White Tornado had a panic attack worrying that his little Paulina might goof up the Canadian national anthem!

“I nailed it! […] He always calls me his best athlete I swear,” Paulina added. By all accounts, Gretzky’s favorite and the oldest did not let him down!
