The athlete who reminisces of her youth amid the Barbie trend posted gorgeous pictures of herself drenched in pink aesthetics on Instagram a few days ago. Apart from her love for all things Barbie, however, Vonn also reminded her fans that life wasn’t as perfect as it looked. The athlete on Friday posted unfiltered pictures of herself on Instagram with a heartfelt note.

Many fans, inspired by Vonn’s words, appreciated her in the comments. Long-term friend and skier’s Business Partner Dwayne Johnson also applauded Lindsey Vonn for her bold statement.

After revealing her passion for the Barbie trend and pink colors in the July 21 post, Lindsey Vonn shared a couple of unedited photos of herself wearing Dwayne Johnson’s clothing line Project Rock. The athlete also shared an important message for her fans in a heartfelt note. The skiing icon stated that reality isn’t as wonderful as Barbie’s life and that she has her own set of flaws, such as wrinkles on her face and cellulite on her body.

However, Vonn believes that her hard work and her flaws make her who she is. And while concluding her message, Vonn also asked her fans to embrace their true selves as well.

Vonn appreciated the support and reposted the story on her Instagram.

Vonn and  Johnson, who began their adorable friendship by sharing a love for intense workouts, have always supported each other through such uplifting actions. Lindsey Vonn is also the first ambassador of Brand Project Rock, founded by Dwayne Johnson in 2019 with Under Armour. Because of her inspiration and her willingness to push her limits in the gym, the athlete became the brand’s first face.

Dwayne Johnson, a WWE legend who later found success in Hollywood, and Lindsey Vonn, an Alpine Skiing legend, began their inspiring friendship in the gym. Since then, the two of them have backed each other to keep going during workouts.

‘The Rock’ can also be seen leaving encouraging comments on Vonn’s workout posts on Instagram. On the other hand, Lindsey Vonn believes Johnson has been a guiding light for her. In an interview with Graham Bensinger, the athlete claimed that the $800 million worth actor has guided her in many facets of life, particularly acting and keeping discipline.

From kindling a bond over their love for the gym to joining hands in business ventures, Vonn and Johnson’s friendship has come a long way. Hopefully, the duo will continue to uplift each other.
