Bolt is very proud of his rich Jamaican heritage and does everything he can through his foundation to help Jamaican students. Recently, his foundation partnered up with the European company Epson.

The event was held at Waldensia Primary school in Trelawny. This is actually where Bolt himself studied, making it all the more special for him.

Bolt took to Twitter to share the wholesome experience. “It was a special & humbling ceremony for me held at my former primary school Waldensia Primary in Trelawny,” tweeted Bolt.

The foundation provided 100 EcoTank Printers and 20 Projectors valued over J$20,000,000.00 to several Primary schools across Jamaica, as tweeted by Bolt.?

“I believe children have the right, to the best start in life,” said Bolt during his speech.

Further, he added that Espon shares his vision of making education accessible for everyone. This is one of the many charitable acts that Bolt has done for his country and for students.

Previously also, the Usain Bolt Foundation donated laptops for distribution to Early Childhood Institutions.

This was just another one of the many charitable acts that the foundation does. Their main goal is to look out for students and make education accessible.

?The current global pandemic has forced many students to do only online classes and it highlights the need for technology in schools,” said Winsome Wilkins, the chair of the foundation.

Wilkins also added that the foundation will keep on working for the education of the students. They will strive to provide the proper materials and technology needed.
