In the lead-up to an Olympic year, the gymnastics world turns its attention to the center qualification event held in Antwerp, Belgium. This event serves as a make-or-break moment for gymnastics teams and individuals. The top 9 teams secure five-person team berths for the Olympics, marking their last chance to earn this privilege. This brings the total number of participating teams to 12 for both men and women.

Additionally, nations falling just short of team qualification can still claim individual quota places. The three highest-ranked nations each earn one spot, with the gymnast representing their country decided internally. In the finals, the highest-ranking gymnast in each division earns a spot by name, and their field at the Olympics. This comprehensive system ensures fairness and healthy competition. Which is offering multiple pathways for gymnasts to achieve their Olympic dreams,? while keeping clear regulations.
