Just a few hours away from the women’s qualifying round at Antwerp today, Simone Biles looks stern with confidence. As the men’s qualifying round concluded successfully on Day 1, it’s time for the most sought-after women to showcase their maneuvers. Undoubtedly, the 26-year-old USA’s six-member roster leader, Simone, has all the eyes on her. Until some pair of eyes may have shifted to her favorite rival, Shilese Jones. The Washington starlet secured a position on the national team, but the crown slipped by just a fraction.

Some days ago, on the commencement of the US Women’s Gymnastics Selection Event at Katy, Texas, Jones held on to the top place for quite a long. Owing to her flawless displays, one after the other, Americans foresaw Shilese capturing the provisional quota. However, the disappointment got clearer in the social media posts. In response, the GOAT declared her magnificence once again.

In a recent ‘X’ post, the 4X Olympic gold medalist proclaimed her well-deserved spot once again. Trouncing competitors one after the other, she took a light jab at the ‘Shi’ fans ahead of the World Championships today. Simone wrote, “I need time to tape my foot for floor. If I anchor – I won’t have time…….. strategies people!!!” Additionally, the insertion of a smiley face in-between asserted slight sarcasm or what anyone would say, don’t mess with the queen.

Even though the post read, ‘some pressure off Simone’, the gymnast herself may agree to it from another angle.

Simone Biles’ Biggest Fear Ahead at Artistic Championship

Just before Simone and Zoe graced the Texas mat at the World Selection event, a get-ready-with-me session caught media attention. While she retouched her highlights, Simone spoke about facing her biggest fear. She said, “I don’t know which routine I am most nervous for…I feel like the floor.”
