Simone Biles has chosen the right man for the right reasons. When the two matched on Raya, little did they know that their values would align perfectly. Like Biles keeps her ‘Twisties’ in mind whenever she takes a gymnastic leap, her husband also keeps his past NFL setbacks in mind. This is his 6th NFL season and the Greenbay Packers’ safety has made his winning strides. But his road to success wasn’t exactly a bed of roses as he had to work hard to get to the stature he possesses now, rife with football undrafted battles.
Kicking off his career with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018, the 28-year-old had been kept as an undrafted free agent for the team. But soon after, his opportunity to continue with the Cardinals slipped due to an unfortunate ACL injury. Years later, he now plays for the Packers as a safety. But he had hit the nadir once and took to social media to chronicle his past struggles.

Taking to his X handle, the Packers safety had posted a poster of “Odds of making it in the NFL” with the caption “I try to repost this every time i see it, undrafted and in my 6th season. I’ll never take it for granted.” Biles fans have oftentimes looked past the struggles of Owens, bombarding him with unappealing statements. But as per his words in ‘The Pivot’ podcast, he had said, “they just threw me to they dropped me off of the airport 12:00 and then I couple weeks later…had a try in Houston man.” It does look like the odds of making it into the NFL are infinitesimal.

But he is a firebrand fighter through and through and persevered. He recalled the times when getting undrafted had augmented his dedication and practise sessions. Speaking about that, he had said, “I’m talking about I’m dead exhaust I’m I’m catching deep balls. I’m sprinting all the way back to the guy, letting them know like man, I’m not going back home.” He who had once gone through difficult times, received a pat on the back by Fred Taylor.
