Several US women gymnasts are eyeing on the gorgeous Paris Olympic trophy. But no one is as frenzied to win it as Suni Lee. She, who has kept herself away from gymnastics for the uncalled for kidney issues, has a lot to prove moving forward. The 2020 Tokyo Olympics all-around gold medalist is girding her loins for another Olympic Games this year. But that doesn’t mean she has to give up on other sporting dreams.

The New Year has rung in and the newest NFL week has also got the ball rolling. Having said so, it’s the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings who went head-on yesterday. Packers’ Simone Biles lady luck favored as the score stood 33 -10. But since one Olympian couldn’t extend her support in-person, her favorite girl made up for it.

Vikings cheerers gush over Suni Lee

Rocking a subtle makeup look and a denim paired with an oversized jacket, Suni Lee appeared in the recent NFL game. But what caught eyes was her camaraderie off-stage with the Vikings cheerleaders. Allison Nicole, the stunning beauty who cheers on the Minnesota Vikings team on the field, couldn’t register Lee’s presence among them. So, to express delight in a dream-come-true moment, Nicole posted a story with the caption “met @sunisalee!!! so kind, so talented, what an honor!”. Three cheerleaders dressed in dazzling white posed with Lee and Viktor the Viking, the athletes’ favorite life-size muppet.

It’s the second week of the current NFL season, and the players are on a path to clinch the Vincent Lombardi trophy. Hailing from Minnesota herself, it’s not freakish for Lee to have a soft corner for the Vikings team. Having said so, when the 12th week of the NFL season had flung open its gates, there was Lee with her spirited chants.

When Bears and the Vikings went head-on for the most awaited battle, Lee graced the spectators’ box. But when the Minnesota Timberwolves stood atop with their win, she couldn’t contain her excitement. Wearing the match spirit throughout, she took to her Instagram story to post a thanksgiving note. Read,  “Thank you, @timberwolves for having me”.

But it’s not just the NFL that she holds a penchant for. Since she mindfully stepped down from the gymnastic mat this season, she decided to spread enthusiasm in the sports realms. Having said so, she also extends her support for the Minnesota NBA team now and then. But she’s ready for the biggest game and her words “I really thrive off of a crowd and the energy, it just helps uplift me and gives me that boost of confidence”, clearly asserts so.
