As giddy as it gets, two gymnastic greats Simone Biles and Aly Raisman reuniting is proof that nothing stands between friendship. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, the US artistic gymnastics women’s team boasted the Final Five, where Biles and Raisman were the most crucial members. Now, their recent appearance is the second time in two months.

Laurie Hernandez, the then Olympian who shared the podium with her two comrades at the Olympic trials, joined the party as well. Recently, some recent social media posts stood as a testament to their unbreakable bond. In the same vein, another TikTok video asserts that they are still going strong.

Simone Biles welcomes the gym girls

In a TikTok post captioned “rounding up some of the gym girls”, the 26-year-old stunned her 749.3k followers with a star-studded video. The trending track playing in sync with their movements is Lovin’ on Me by Jack Harlow. 

The gorgeous video was almost like a gymnastics line-up which Simone Biles was leading. Having said so, clad in a beautiful blue with clean micro braids done, the 7X Olympic medalist blew a flying kiss facing the screen and covered the camera. To everyone’s surprise, the next in line was Aly Raisman, looking natural as ever. Hernandez appeared with her adorable smile and soft curls, but her goofy self made her cover the camera with the knee instead. After three or four other gymnasts also surfaced, Biles concluded the video with a confused look. Having said so, though the friends don’t meet often, their bonds are for posterity.

At the iconic Summer Olympics of 2016, the 26-year-old walked home with the all-around, the vault and the floor gold. Trailing behind, Raisman secured the all-around and the floor silver. While Hernandez won the balance beam silver. Reminiscing about those days, the three met a while ago, too.

Biles and Raisman’s gymnastic transition

On a mission to turn heads on a fun night out, Raisman and Biles thought of shooting a transition video inside the washroom. Both dressed in white bathrobes, the gymnasts vibed to the beats of Greedy by Tate McRae. Captioned the video as “getting ready together again, but not for a competition this time”. The caption asserted that she remembers the time when the gym girls shared the mirror before the gymnastic events.

When the 26-year-old placed her palm on the camera, little did the world know that there would be a seamless transition. But there they were, rocking high boots and mini dresses paired with blazers. Undoubtedly, the girls dressed to kill. Another Olympic season is upcoming, and Simone Biles’ comrades can’t wait to see her make a mark again.
