The governing body, IOC EB, has scheduled its upcoming meetings to keep a tab on the happenings and recent developments of the 2024 Paris Olympics. As they have published details of the schedule, visiting an Olympic venue and a high-level meeting with the Paris 2024 Organising Committee are at the forefront.?

The first installment will come on November 29 whereas the second is decided to take place on the next day, November 30. The high-octane meetings will take place in the heart of Paris city, Salon Hoche.?

All the details of the meetings will be released through the press release on December 1. The schedules might change, but all the outcomes will be released in the press tentatively in the hybrid format. However, the governing body has regulated some rules and directions for the press bodies participating in the press briefs.?

This time, IOC EB has preferred to keep their press briefs in the hybrid mode. The organizing committee has kept the seat numbers limited to 30, whereas, for the remote version, they have added Zoom links to their website. However, this is not the first time the EB has kept the press briefings in the hybrid mode. However, for the limited seat availability, they have motivated the ‘first come, first serve rule’. The two set meetings are going to be nodal for various seasons. Multiple important decisions are on the list to be finalized in those meetings. From the scheduled meeting on November 29 and 30, the final decision on the future game venue might be finalized. As of now, the bids are for the 2030 and 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Among the participants, Salt Lake City from the USA has made some recent developments regarding the bidding. As a motivated step, the responsible Salt Lake City-Utah Committee has added some big names to their list. This is for the Games Presentation on the set day for the Future Host Commission.?

However, Utah is already brimming with a high possibility for hosting. They have upped the ante by presenting their rich sporting history and vibrant community. However, on the slated day, the EB will take a final call on future hosting as the other bidders don’t show any falling off. Till then, Salt Lake City – Utah will have to wait for the last call.?
