If there is one person who is associated with NFL matches these days, it is none other than America’s all-time favorite singer Taylor Swift. With her record-breaking songs, Swift has garnered a huge following. Swifties, as they like to be called, spare no details about the twelve-time Grammy winner’s whereabouts. This time, however, it is not about an album released. Instead, it revolves around Swift and the NFL prodigy, Travis Kelce.

As the duo have taken the sports and music world by storm, many people have chimed in to express their views about the same. One of them came from an American businessperson. Dave Portnoy, CEO of Barstool Sports. Taking to his Twitter account, the American entrepreneur has always shared some of his views about the sports world. This time, however, the tweet shared by him referred to his own company’s account. The account runs under the name, Big Cat.

Dave Portnoy Wants to “Bury Him”

Swift was recently spotted in the MetLife Stadium on Sunday, October 2, where she couldn’t stop praising Kelce in the Kansas vs. the Jets match. But, it was the post-match comments that stood out even more. A tweet shared on the Barstool sports page resurfaced, which spelled, “If Taylor Swift is going to be over our Sunday’s I’m going to need to see a s** tape.”

Emily Sears, a beauty guru and a model, also expressed her exasperation over the statement. The model tweeted, “This dirty pig piece of s*** deserves the full force of swiftie rage.. please drag him to filth as you see fit.”

As was expected, this did not go well with Swifties. Amidst the rows, Portnoy tried to break the ice with his tweet that said, “I hate men and I’m one of them. BURY HIM.” But this is not the first time Dave Portnoy has been involved in something controversial.

In the Sunday match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets, Taylor Swift was cheering for Travis Kelce. Swift, however, was not alone. Referring to Lively’s presence at the game, Dave Portnoy’s tweet wrote, “Facts. Blake Lively out here cheering for the Chiefs like she grew up in Overland Park, Missouri.” As the tweet posted was mocking Blake Lively’s presence, fans took it upon themselves to help Portnoy with his lack of knowledge in geography.

This time, many corrected him for mistaking Oakland Park to be in Missouri. As was obvious on his feed, many announced to Dave Portnoy about his minor mistake. Some just simply corrected Portnoy by writing that Oakland Park is in Kansas. Facts or not, with all his tweets, Dave Portnoy sure knows how to make news.
