“Holy S***, We Did It”: Aquaman Jason Momoa Conquers Rocks and Humbles Climbers in New HBO Show

Jason Momoa garnered massive fame after portraying the DC superhero Aquaman. After starring in Aquaman, fans became aware of the actor’s intense training regimen that even astonished Ronnie Coleman. However, few know Momoa is also passionate about rock climbing. The Hollywood action star has a lot of experience climbing rock faces and has collaborated with brands producing climbing gear. So everyone, from his fans to rock climbers, was impressed when Momoa announced his HBO Max show, The Climb.
Legendary rock climber Chris Sharma joined Jason Momoa for the show. On January 11, Sharma took to Instagram and announced that The Climb would start streaming exclusively on HBO Max from January 12. He also wrote a lengthy caption thanking everyone involved, including the actor. When Momoa shared Sharma’s post, people flocked to his comments section on Instagram.

Sharma described the show as a “massive undertaking” and “a labor of love.” He also thanked Jason Momoa for “having faith” in him. “It was a dream come true bringing our vision into reality!” wrote the rock climbing legend.
The Rock Climbing community showed their support
“Holy s***, we did it hermano!” Momoa’s co-star commented. Sharma’s comment is also the most liked comment on the post. Fans of the Hollywood star and other rock climbers also praised Momoa and Sharma’s efforts. “So much talent,” commented one user. However, the Aquaman actor’s climbing prowess humbled others.
“Beautiful imagery. I’ve neither the strength nor agility to manage this, but admire those who can and do,” commented one user. “Major intense. I will say that wall is major difficult and I would have to admit, I wouldn’t be able to climb it,” commented another. “So cool but so scary,” wrote another third user. “If JM is in it, I’m watching it.
