The five-time snowboarding Olympian, Shaun White and his Vampire Diaries fame girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, have never forgone an occasion to celebrate love and togetherness. Be it sports events, holiday festivities, or starry New Year Eves, the couple has captivated hearts with joy. Today, with the arrival of Valentine’s Day, one would expect nothing less from the two who are each other’s “favorite person’.

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev first celebrated Valentine’s Day together in 2021. From the ‘favorite snow cone and beautiful person’ dedication, this year’s occasion has grown to celebrate each other in a domain closer to the two’s hearts.

Shaun White recently took to his Instagram to share a celebratory post for Nina Dobrev on Valentine’s Day. Following some practice down the slope, Shaun White accumulated a series of clips to celebrate their long-standing love. A pizza grab during the Super Bowl, a click with Wrestlemania buckle, and a fun clip of the duo vibing to rap made Shaun’s list of doting moments between the two. But the highlight of the day seemed to be a snowboarding adventure of the couple.

“My valentine rips,” he wrote, adding a little heart. In the post attached, Dobrev can be seen crushing through the slopes of a mountain on a snowboard. In the background, the three-time Olympic gold medalist can be heard cheering on as he follows his girlfriend right behind. But while snowboarding is popularly known to be Shaun White’s element, Nina hasn’t fallen far behind in embracing the practice. Further growing to cherish and build a bond for millions to adore.

Love and joy through snowboarding

The 35-year-old has previously revealed to have started snowboarding at the age of 8 or 9. So when the duo went snowboarding for the first time together in 2020, she added that it proved quite a surprise for Shaun White. “I think [White] was more surprised when we went [snowboarding] for the first time,” Nina told E! News. “He was expecting to wait for me and it was quite the opposite. I had already passed him by a landslide … I can keep up! “A few months later, Shaun White also admitted that Nina was “talented” and “pretty pro already” on the snowboard.

It was only after that that the two made their relationship official. Quarantine haircuts, birthday notes, and holiday dinners majorly followed next for the star couple. And more recently, it was Shaun White lifting the famed actress while snowboarding down the slopes, calling it “The Nina 900,” and “My second perfect score.” Through snowboarding, primaries, and red carpets, the two have grown to embrace love like none other.
