Sha’Carri Richardson’s athletic career has certainly been rocky. In high school, early running practices helped her achieve 100-meter sprint titles. She continued her winning streak when she ran the ninth-fastest time in 100-meter history at LSU, continuing her winning streak. Her upward trajectory saw an expected blow when a failed marijuana test prevented her from competing in the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
In the most recent Los Angeles Grand Prix, Richardson withdrew from the women’s 100-meter dash, robbing fans of an intriguing sprint. However, her ever loyal fandom is anxiously awaiting her next participation in the Star Athletics Sprint Series to watch her successfully defend her 100-meter title.
Richardson is all set to float on the Montverde track

Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida, will host the ninth Star Athletics Sprint Series on June 10, 2023. A highlight of the 2022 Star Athletics Sprint Series was the battle between Richardson and Jenna Prandini, with both athletes turning in strong performances in the 100-meter race. Richardson won the 100-meter final with a time of 10.73 seconds and a wind-legal time. However, despite advancing to the finals, she withdrew from the USATF L.A. Grand Prix in May 2023 because of cramps.

Richardson can’t be outrun easily
With a record time of 22:00 seconds, Richardson won the 200-meter competition at the 2020 Star Athletics Sprint Showcase. The 30-day suspension from the tracks back then, which is considered a “wild” setback in her career history, only tested her resilience and determination.
