Snoop Dogg has plans for Paris Olympics coverage
NBC, in its announcement, stated that Snoop Dogg’s addition to the Paris Olympics coverage would bring a ‘unique perspective’ to the primetime show. The famed rapper will be going around the streets of Paris to meet up with athletes and explore everything that the city has to offer. Now, in line with NBC’s intent, Snoop Dogg has unveiled his vision of unprecedented coverage: going underwater. The reports state that the rapper expressed the idea, adding, “I like the underwater boogie.”

As per the Television Critics Association Press Tour reportings, the 52-year-old rapper promised to ‘get underwater’ to learn from the swimmers. Furthermore, he has offered to help the Olympians if they ever needed him. “I’ve been working on myself, so in case they need a hand or a foot or an arm, I’m available,” she said. Apart from the sports coverage, Snoop Dogg has added that he would love to work with Dolly Parton and asked if anyone can hook that up. However, while the rapper has carried joy and goofiness on the surface, the news has been an emotional ride for him.

Nostalgia and honor for the rapper
During the TCA tour, Snoop Dogg got emotional talking about the memories the Paris Olympics evoked. USA Today states that the ‘deep cover’ singer recalled the time celebrating Edwin Moses’ win with friends and family during the 1984 games. “That’s what the Olympics does; it makes you feel like you were a part of the win,” he said. This year, following hilarious commentary with Kevin Hart for Tokyo 2020 and all the years of cheering from home, the 52-year-old will be on set; experiencing the joy live.
