Vonn took to socials to express her awe for Federer. The duo actually played a match once in the lap of the Swiss Alps. This was back in 2014 and the duo seems to have stayed in a cordial relationship.

Lindsey confessed how Federer was always a champion to her. She said, “Sport will never be the same without him.” Vonn had a deep reverence for this 20-time grand slam winner and also said how she was a fan of his grit and discipline. How she drew inspiration from him as an athlete and a person. She further added, “I was and will be a Roger fan until the end.”
