Relationships between celebrities often sour out due to external issues, like schedules or paparazzi pressure. But, for the Alpine Skiing queen, Lindsey Vonn, things were not as simple. Though Vonn is an elite athlete, it seems the territory was a bit too much to tackle for her.

Lindsey Vonn and her golfer boyfriend Tiger Woods may have dated, but they were one of the power couples in the sports industry. The duo became official in 2012 and dated till 2015 before announcing a mutual separation. This honestly came as a shock because to fans, the couple was made for each other. Even Vonn herself would speak often about all the lessons she’d learned from Woods.

But the actual truth between Vonn and Woods was spilled out by the Olympian herself. In a 2016 article, she detailed what it actually felt like to date the greatest golfer of all time. And, the reality is far from roses and rainbows.

In a HuffPost, the then 31-year-old skier spoke all about her relationship with her ex, Tiger Woods. According to her, the decision to split was quite hard for both of them.

Lindsey was far from being comfortable due to all that unwanted spotlight on her. Speaking about it Vonn said, “It was essentially being in a fish bowl. Everyone’s looking at you and judging you and commenting on what they think is right or wrong.”

While both of them were going through such tumultuous times, Vonn decided to tackle it to the best of her knowledge. In the same interview, she also detailed how she remained aloof to all the scrutiny.

She had a simple answer and it was to block all that negativity away for the while.

Lindsey’s extensive dating life

Lindsey is a talented woman, so no doubt she’ll have her fair share of suitors. Her dating life has been an extensive one, to say the least, starting with her marriage to a fellow Olympian, Thomas Vonn. The couple was together from 2007 to 2013.

After this came her famous amour with Tiger Woods. Fans were hopeful that she’d found her man of dreams, but due to some reason, this duo called it quits in 2015 via Facebook.
