The alpine skiing couple, Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Kilde are preoccupied with their individual World Cup schedules. Shiffrin is currently warming up for her slalom event, which is already underway and looks to be filled with exciting moments of victory. However, bad weather forced the postponement of the men’s competition, pressing pause on Aleksander Kilde’s slalom run. Shifting all the focus on the resilient 88 World Cup winner who was recently injured stating “Bone Bruise.”

Despite being divided by distance, these beloved athletes were able to spend some heartfelt moments with each other. Further, a recent update from Shiffrin showed how romantic healing can withstand even the stresses of a hectic World Cup schedule.

Following her impressive sixth-place finish in the first giant slalom event in Sölden on October 28, Shiffrin is back to clinch victory in another slalom. Just like any other couple, the alpine skiing duo also turned to each other for motivation yesterday. Just before showtime, Shiffrin added an Instagram story of herself with her boyfriend Aleksander. It was a screenshot of a picture in her gallery of their video call with added pictures from the gallery.

In a playful mood, with “Today 9:23 pm” showing, she kiddish-ly placed herself beside her boyfriend’s face with added images. In the original screenshot, he looked at her at the top left corner, and captioned, “Really couldn’t tell ya what’s actually going on here and why there are 3X alexanders, ” “And just one me! Hello!”

Apart from the normal video call frame, looks like Shiffrin asked Kilde to look up in one picture captioned, “Hi!!,” and down in another saying, “Hey man!” Keeping the pressure at bay, the pictorial shenanigans are proof she knows how to be the adorable one in the relationship.

The 2023/24 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup extended a warm invitation to top competitors to participate in an exciting schedule of 90 events in four different disciplines. In keeping with custom, the spectacular event began with the giant slalom days in Solden where the seasoned champion sustained a setback.

From Shiffrin’s point of view, the difficulty of facing fear—especially the dread of failing was highlighted, along with the ease with which it may be overcome. She also emphasized the idea that taking chances is necessary to reach the top since there are always challenges on the way to success. She says there are always going to be hiccups along the way, and there are few easy routes to fame. Lastly, Shiffrin follows the basic rule of doing things slowly while dealing with injuries; a motto she lives by as an Olympian.
