Mikaela Shiffrin joins fans post-victory
Shiffrin added a rare feat in St. Moritz, Switzerland in the first downhill race of the season. The 28-year-old beat Olympic downhill champion Sofia Goggia by 0.15 seconds. After her thrilling race, when the other skiers left, “Shiffrin came out to give the kids a few signatures and pictures”, a fans Instagram story read which was reposted by Mikaela on her Instagram. “What a humble champion,” the story called Shiffrin, who replied with two teary eyes emoji.

Shiffrin set the fastest times in both runs, showing her dominance and later shared a post on her X on November 27th, captioned, “As it turns out, dancing alone in the shower is really the best post-victory celebration (woozy, dancing girl and bathtub emoji)”.
