The New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers celebrated his 40th birthday on December 2nd and garnered a hoard full of wishes from his beloved NFL fandom, and a multitude of stars from various sporting realms. Nevertheless, joining forces with the chorus of birthday wishes, alpine skiing queen Lindsey Vonn also took a moment to wish Rodgers a Happy Birthday.

The quarterback celebrated his 40th birthday surrounded by stars after his team lost their fifth game in a row. However, the NFL icon celebrated his birthday bash surrounded by many stars and garnering many wishes across the internet. Lindsey Vonn also followed suit to express her wish in the most fascinating way.

Birthday wishes from Lindsey Vonn for Aaron Rodgers

Lindsey Vonn took to Instagram to share a story. In the still, she added an image of a multi-layered Jets-themed birthday cake. Prominently visible in one layer is Rodgers’ team and current jersey number. There were also shout-outs to the HBO show Game of Thrones and Michael Scott, the fictional character portrayed by Steve Carell in the American version of The Office. Vonn added the following words to the image, “The big 4-0! Happy Birthday to the OG.”

A guitar formed the base of the cake. Its visible side featured the logos of the NFL and the California Golden Bears, Rodgers’ college team. Aside from that, there was an affirmation thrown in for good measure. It read, “I’m thinking I’m back.” At the top of the cake, a banner read “It is your birthday.”

Aaron Rodgers to be back in time for the playoffs

The birthday boy and the Jets’ star quarterback will be back in time for the post-season playoffs. Of course, that would be a welcome shot in the arm for the Jets, providing they make it to the playoffs. They are presently 4-8 and mired in third in the AFC East table. The Jets lost their last five games and recorded 20 points or more on only four occasions this season. Rodgers ruptured his Achilles after being brought down in game one.

Aaron Rodgers is already throwing the football around, though he is yet to be cleared for contact. Despite the years adding up, he shows no signs of slowing down. Rodgers might not throw in an actual game again in 2023. Even so, his recovery has destroyed every conservative estimate up to this point, given the severity of his injury.
