 Mikaela Shiffrin is America’s most celebrated Alpine Skiing maestro. The athlete is all set to gatekeep her title this weekend. Just a few days ago, fresh off her triumphant sixth slalom win on Thanksgiving at the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World 2023/24. Along with this, she teams up with other skiing powerhouses. The hall of fame includes Lara Gut-Behrami. This event holds special significance as it returns to a Canadian resort after four decades.

The legend, on 2nd December 2023, took to her Instagram handle and added a new post for her growing 1.3 million family. She added her smiling face in ski gear with the caption, “Back-to-back North American (and @ikonpass!!) @fisalpine World Cup races?! Looking forward to racing in @monttremblant for the first time…it’s beautiful, and everyone has been so welcoming! Word on the street is that there’s a big passion for ski racing here…so make sure to cheer loud, everyone. (And don’t worry, I’m cheering for @valeriegrenier too! Excited and smiling face upside down emoji)”.

The prestigious Quebec resort in Mont Tremblant, Canada, will be hosting the circuit on December 2 and 3. In a nutshell, spectators are set to have another weekend filled with tight hugs, dramatic falls, and heartfelt tears. Speaking of milestones, Mikaela Shiffrin has recently celebrated her 90th World Cup victory being 28. Following this, she is ready to clinch 91st in the allocates list.

Vermont’s Killington resort, the largest ski and snowboard haven in Eastern North America, reigns as the Alpine Ski circuit’s cherished venue. Once more, the resort embraced its shining star, witnessing her triumphant return. With a remarkable time of 1 minute and 42.02 seconds, the 28-year-old soared to victory, leaving her formidable rival Vlhova languishing in second place.
