“Stay Strong” Lindsey Vonn Reacts to Young Girl Battling a Disease Who Is Motivated by the Ski Legend

Lindsey Vonn has been one of the most dominant alpine skiers in the world for a long time. The three-time Winter Olympic medalist retired in 2019 after accumulating 82 victories. And since the sport of skiing has given so much to her, Vonn does her best to give it back to the community.

In February 2015, Vonn started her foundation- Lindsey Vonn Foundation. Her foundation provides scholarships to girls and helps them grow in academics and sports. Recently, a little girl shared an Instagram post and revealed how the Lindsey Vonn Foundation fulfilled her birthday wish.

Lindsey Vonn acted as an inspiration for a little girl

Lindsey Vonn Foundation has been helping many people fulfill their dreams and reach their potential. One of them is Seddina Bosna, who recently took over Instagram on her birthday and thanked the skiing champ.

Bosna claimed the foundation donated books, helmets, and other skiing gear to her. Despite spending two birthdays in the hospital, Bosna held a contagious smile that was given to her by Vonn. She also shared her birthday presents in her Instagram story.

Vonn reposted Bosna’s story, and she wrote, “Stay strong.” In the Instagram post, Bosna wrote, “After two birthdays in the hospital, besides wanting to heal and be with friends for this out of the hospital, my birthday wish this year has already been fulfilled.”

Seddina thanked everyone who made her wish come true, and Vonn replied by commenting with purple hearts. The 38-year-old skier created an example by motivating a little girl and making her forget her troubles on her birthday.

Where does Vonn’s generosity come from?

Vonn has been a great skier and an even greater human being. She has always acknowledged her mother, Linda Krohn, for inspiring her optimism, enthusiasm, and tenacity. She wrote her book, Rise: My Story, as a tribute to her mother, who passed away in August 2022 due to a degenerative disorder.
