Vonn is known for being a strong-headed person, and she speaks her heart out on things that she thinks are right. This is one of numerous instances when the Saint Paul-based retired skier has been candid with her words. On the other hand, Djokovic is currently preparing for the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, where he is looking to win his first major title of the 2024 season. If he manages to do so, he will join an elite list of tennis stars and will attain a rare milestone that not many have achieved, and he is surely one of the legends to watch out for at the Californian event.

He is almost there

36-year-old Djokovic has achieved almost everything that was there on a tennis court to achieve, and he’s still not done yet. However, if he wins the Indian Wells title this year, then he will become the oldest player to hold the latter title. He is contesting the event after 2019 and will be appearing in this competition after five years of hiatus. If he manages to cross the finish line, then he’ll also break Federer’s record of being the oldest Indian Wells titleholder.

Another milestone that he can achieve is winning the most number of titles in Indian Wells, having done it in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2016. If he does so, he’ll again go past Federer’s record of winning five titles. Another landmark that he can attain is being the king of hard court. He currently shares the record of clinching 71 titles on hard court with Federer, and he only needs one win to surpass the Swiss legend.
