On Monday, Vonn shared this post on her Instagram with the caption, “Mentoring is a big part of what gives me joy these days. Sharing the knowledge I’ve learned in my life to help guide kids in their journey is hugely rewarding. I met Phalyn on Instagram and she continues to impress me with her work ethic and determination, not to mention how supportive her amazing family is. At 9 years old, she has incredible potential but no matter how far she goes, she’ll always have a fan in me.” 

It is evident from the caption that she is helping the nine-year-old girl with her tennis preparations and has appreciated her hard work and skills. In the first picture of this post, we see Vonn sitting on a bench with her dog and a little girl. Both of them have tennis rackets in their hands.
