Lindsey Vonn makes a valid point
In her autobiography, Lindsey wrote about why it is unfair to discipline Serena Williams for calling the chair umpire a thief during the U.S. Open final. She said, “I don’t think she should be penalized for it when her male counterparts aren’t.”
She wrote about John McEnroe to describe the sad situation of female athletes. McEnroe is famous for being vocally aggressive and describes people find him entertaining. Vonn pops a question. “What if a woman does that?” The answer is clear. She said such behavior or anything close to it they would deem unacceptable. If McEnroe had been a woman, she would have been kicked off the court.
