In a recent Instagram story reshared by Nastia, the video begins with the “names of the last four women’s all-around Olympic champions.”

Then, it goes on to highlight individual achievements, starting with Nastia Liukin winning the individual all-around gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Gabby Douglas followed with her own gold medal win at the 2012 London Olympics. Simone Biles had a dominant performance at the 2016 Rio Olympics and our favorite Suni Lee, the 2020 Olympic all-around. All of these incredible athletes are considered among the greatest gymnasts of all time. Nastia captioned this story with three hearts. However, Simon Biles made History in recent ongoing World Artistic Gymnastic Champion by performing flawlessly.

Simone Biles chasing 21st Gold, Team USA makes history

Simone Biles made history in the 2023 recent World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, she competed in the women’s team and individual all-around final, vying for her 21st world championship gold. “It wasn’t Team USA’s best day,” Biles said. “It’s crazy, we still pulled it out. So, I’m really, really proud of the team.” Remarkably, Simone Biles made her  teammates secured their seventh title at the Gymnastics World Championships which is the key to Paris 2024 Olympics. “Each and every time you are crowned world champion, it feels a little bit different,” Biles said. “I’m still surprised that I’m still going, I’m 26, I’m a little bit older. It’s different, but it’s exciting.”

Simone Biles continues to make history at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp. As of October 7 2023, Biles has 34 medals across the world championships and Olympics, more than any other gymnast in the history of the sport.
