The speculation brewed when the Team USA recently posted a video on their official Instagram account with caption,🐐” showing Katie Ledecky and an end on a puzzling date 4.16.12, the doubts started to rise. A day before Katie, Team USA also posted a video of Sha’Carri Richardson with a mysterious caption, The start of something new: 4.16.24”. Team USA has had a classy, preppy look since 2008 when the U.S. committee gave Ralph Lauren the contract to become the official outfitter for the opening and closing ceremonies.

But this year it’s all mysterious as they are yet to reveal the new uniform. The last time the grand reveal happened was at the Tokyo Olympics 2020-21, the outfits for the Tokyo Olympics were precisely in line with this classic aesthetic. But this time for the Paris Olympics 2024 what new theme and style is going to be presented is a question mark. This indeed shows something huge going to be revealed On April 16.

Riding the waves of style: Other team’s bold statement at the 2024 Olympics

In preparation for the Olympics, the task of outfitting Team France falls upon the shoulders of designers. Stephane Ashpool, founder of Pigalle, has been tasked with the responsibility of outfitting Team France for the Olympics and Paralympics. The Summer Olympics is all decked up to start on July 26, 2024, in the beautiful city of Paris, France.

From FloJo’s iconic hooded suit to Team Japan’s 1964 arrival, these are the Olympic outfits that have really stood out over the years. France and Australia are the only teams that have revealed their uniform for their upcoming Paris Olympics 2024. The Australian Olympic team’s kit was unveiled in Sydney in March.

ASICS designed kit tailored featuring Australia’s iconic green and gold color scheme, an Indigenous print and arrow patterns known as Japonism yagasuri. Whereas for the France Olympic team the result is a lighter blue on an iridescent fabric that fades into hazy pink tones before building up to a more vibrant red.
